Tender Coordinator

  • Put your administration and coordination skills to work in a project-focused role

  • Support tender activity from initial enquiry through to project handover

  • Work closely with estimators, suppliers and subcontractors

Enjoy keeping busy projects organised and making sure nothing slips through the cracks? Randstad is recruiting a Tender & Estimating Coordinator to support our client’s estimating team.

This opportunity would suit a proactive administrator who enjoys working with detailed information, following up stakeholders and keeping deadlines on track. Experience supporting construction, trades or technical teams would be advantageous.

The opportunity

You’ll help bring together the information needed to prepare tender submissions, giving the estimating team reliable administrative support throughout the process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping track of tender opportunities, submission dates and outstanding actions.

  • Organising project files, drawings, specifications and document updates.

  • Requesting supplier and subcontractor quotes and following up responses.

  • Updating pricing records, spreadsheets and tender progress information.

  • Helping compile submission documents and checking that required information is included.

  • Liaising with internal teams and external contacts to resolve information gaps.

  • Preparing documentation for handover when projects are awarded.

  • Identifying practical ways to improve templates, records and administrative processes.

What you’ll bring

You’re organised, accurate and comfortable following up with people to get things moving. You can balance competing deadlines while keeping records current and communicating clearly.

We’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in administration, coordination or a related support role.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheets and document management tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to managing priorities.

  • Professional communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.

  • Initiative, reliability and a collaborative approach.

  • A current driver’s licence.

Exposure to tenders, estimating, construction or building services would be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in business administration, construction or estimating are welcome but not essential.
